LOCAL JOURNALISTS DISCUSS OHIO POLITICS

“As OHIO Goes, So Goes the Nation — Or , Not?

Come Learn About How Ohio Became the “Decider”, How Ohio will Impact the race in ’08, and the Historical Context for Ohio’s Role in National Politics

Participants in this panel discussion will be veteran political observers, Darrel Rowland, public affairs editor for The Columbus Dispatch and Bill Cohen, a Statehouse reporter for WOSU-Radio for more than two decades; Sandy Theis, former bureau chief of thePlain Dealer and now a news media consultant; and Brian Rothenberg, founder of Progress Ohio. Coalition member and retired journalist Bob Ruth will be the moderator.

CANDIDATES FOR THE NOVEMBER ELECTION have been invited (and many have already accepted) to display information and “work the room.”

THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD AT

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 683)     23 West 2nd Avenue in the Short North (near High Street on the South side of 2nd Avenue)
